NCAA Names Hosts for 2019 & 2020 NCAA D3 Swimming Championships

The NCAA has awarded hosting duties for both the 2019 and 2020 NCAA Division II men’s and women’s swimming and diving championships to Greensboro, North Carolina. The Greensboro Aquatic Center will host a combined 5 NCAA Championships meets in swimming and diving from 2018-2022, with the 2018 Division II meet, the  2021 Division I women’s meet, and the 2022 Division II meet all also ascribed to the city.

After the Division III meet was hosted in Conroe, Texas this past season, the meet will move to the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana, before camping in Greensboro for the next two seasons.

NCAA Division III Hosts 2018-2020

The meet will continue to fall on the same weekend as the Women’s NCAA Division I meet, as it has in recent memory.

The state of North Carolina, and the City of Greensboro, received a hosting windfall after the NCAA barred the state from hosting off-campus NCAA Championship events in 2017. In addition to swimming duties, Greensboro will host the 2022 D3 outdoor track & field championships, the D3 men’s soccer championships from 2018-2021, and Division I basketball regionals in 2019 and 2020.
