Josh Liendo Clocks 49.99 100 Fly Canadian Record, Becomes #5 Performer Of All-Time

In the final of the men’s 100 butterfly at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Canadian swimmer Josh Liendo clocked a time of 49.99 to take silver behind Hungary’s Kristof Milak. Liendo is now the fifth-fastest performer of all-time in the men’s 100 fly. His Canadian teammate Ilya Kharun, who went 50.25 to take bronze, ties Australia’s Matt Temple as the eighth-fastest of all-time.

Apparently Canada has gotten over the Ben ( Who?) fiasco 🤣. Seems like they made it out the other side pretty well.
