Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the Senior Prep group.
- Provide individual and group coaching to enhance swimmers’ technique, endurance, and competitive skills.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages athletes to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure cohesive training and program development.
- Monitor and evaluate athletes’ progress and adjust training plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and the swim club management.
- Participate in swim meets and events as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a swim coach, preferably with a focus on competitive swim training.
- Strong knowledge of swim techniques, training methodologies, and competition strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and coaching (USA Swimming Coach Certification) preferred.
Hours & Pay Rate:
- 10-15 hours of on-deck training time per week.
- 1-2 swim meets per month.
- Competitive hourly pay rate commensurate with experience.
