Assistant Swim Coach – Senior Prep Coach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the Senior Prep group.
  • Provide individual and group coaching to enhance swimmers’ technique, endurance, and competitive skills.
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages athletes to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure cohesive training and program development.
  • Monitor and evaluate athletes’ progress and adjust training plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and the swim club management.
  • Participate in swim meets and events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a swim coach, preferably with a focus on competitive swim training.
  • Strong knowledge of swim techniques, training methodologies, and competition strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and coaching (USA Swimming Coach Certification) preferred.

Hours & Pay Rate:

  • 10-15 hours of on-deck training time per week.
  • 1-2 swim meets per month.
  • Competitive hourly pay rate commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
