Jamie Nats of the Highlands Ranch Aquatics swim club in Highlands Ranch, CO, will join the Boise State Broncos next fall. Last season at the 2014-2015 5A Colorado State Championships, she finished in 15th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.80) and 13th in the 100-yard freestyle (52.81), setting a new school record in the 100. She also helped her high school, Mountain Vista, place 6th in the 200-yard medley relay as well as 7th in the 400-yard freestyle relay, both of which reset the former school records.

Nats best SCY times are:

  • 50 free: 24.67
  • 100 free: 52.34
  • 200 free: 1:51.74
  • 500 free: 5:07.23

Since 2014, Nats has dropped 1 second in her 100-yard free and 2 seconds in her 200-yard free, if this progression continues she will earn valuable points for the Broncos in the upcoming seasons. Her best 200-yard free time would have given her an 8th place finish in the C final of the 2015 Mountain West Championships. So far, Boise State has focused their recruiting mainly on freestylers, Nats will join new teammates freestyle/flyer Emmie Jennings and distance freestyler Ally Schultz in the Broncos class of 2020.
