Sticklen was out under record pace tonight and held on. She was over half a second ahead of Walsh’s record pace at the 50 and over a second at the 100 mark.
There have only been 15 performances under the 1:50 mark and Sticklen holds over half of them. Her swims today bring her total up to nine. Alex Walsh and Regan Smith have been under 1:50 twice. Smith holds the American record at a 1:48.33.
Hope she sticks at it and goes for Worlds team
