Qian Yi Pang has given her verbal commitment to the University of North Carolina for the 2015-16 season. Pang is from Cupertino, California where she attends Monta Vista High School and dives for Santa Clara Diving Club.
Pang’s third-place finish in diving at California’s 2014 CIF-Central Coast Section Championships was one of the keys to Monta Vista’s team title.
Pang won the 16-18 Girls 1m J.O. and Senior Women 1m Springboard, and was second in the 16-18 Girls Platform J.O. at the 2014 Far Western Diving Championships.
