SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant University women’s swimming & diving team took down the Marist Red Foxes 164-136 on Senior Day to pick up their fourth win of the season.
The side picked up nine individual victories en route to the team win.
Notes and Notables
- Megan Beasley continues her superiority on the boards with her wins in both the 1m and 3m events. She scored 257.10 in the 1m and 233.48 in the 3m.
- The team of Reagan Lord, Elayna Pistrin, Julia Stenhard, and Marcella Figueroa won the 200 yd medley relay with a 1:47.49. The quartet just missed the pool record by .25 seconds.
- Makayla Pearce and Natalia Kuipers went 1-2 in the 1000 yd free with times of 10:38.38 and 10:39.68.
- Jill Carline won the 200 yd freestyle with 1:58.33. Carline also had a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with her time of 54.63.
- Regan Lord and Jacqui Fox took top two spots in 100 yard backstroke with Lord taking first at 57.41 and Fox second at 58.44.
- Julia Stenhard snagged a victory in the 200 yd butterfly with a time of 2:10.98.
- Pearce picked up her second win on the day with a 5:13.02 in the 500 yd freestyle.
- The Bulldogs went 1-2 for the second time on Saturday when Stenhard and Clara Steen placed in the 100 yd butterfly. Stenhard took first with her time of 59.23 and Steen backed her up in second with a 1:00.45.
- The Black and Gold also had eight second place and seven third place finishes in the meet.
- Bryant honored six senior athletes post-meet for their time with the program. Madeline Condon, Rose Cunningham, Faith Gambardella, Natalia Kuipers, Julia Stenhard, and Jillian Stevens were all honored.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – On Saturday afternoon the Bryant University men’s swimming & diving team grabbed the win over Marist to secure a Senior Day victory by a score of 178-119.
The squad grabbed 13 individual wins for their third team victory of the season.
Notes and Notables
- Christopher Buonocore won both the 1m and 3m dive with scores of 273.98 and 288.23. Will Arnold and Filip Dominique backed him up in both events with Arnold taking second in both and Dominique third.
- The team of Griffin Lajoie, Gustav Persson, James Misto, and Conner Lofstrom won the 200 yd medley relay with a time of 1:32.78. The squad just missed the Chace Pool record by .16 seconds.
- Leo Luna won the 1000 yd freestyle with a 9:45.36, 13 seconds faster than second place. The junior also took the 500 yd freestyle with a time of 4:45.37.
- Lajoie won the 100 yard backstroke with his time of 52.05. He also picked up a victory in the 200 yard backstroke by racing to a 1:56.47.
- Gustav Persson picked up two more wins this season with his first place finishes in the 100 yard and 200 yard breaststroke. He swam a 58.63 in the 100 yd event and a 2:09.01 in the 200.
- Andrew Gamper swam to first place for the third time this season. Gamper won in dramatic fashion by stealing the win in the last 5 yards. He raced a 1:56.24 in the event.
- James Misto continued his dominance in the sprint events, winning the 50 yd and 100 yd freestyle events with times of 21.32 and 49.97.
- Lofstrom grabbed an individual event win in the 100 yd freestyle as he swam to a 47.28.
- The Black and Gold had five second place and six third place finishes in the meet.
- Bryant honored five senior athletes post-meet for their contributions to the Bulldog program. Those athletes were Charles Keen, Chase Konstantakos, Brandon Naylor, Gustav Persson, and Reese Stevenson.

SMITHFIELD, RI. – The Marist swim and dive teams fell in the final away meet against Bryant University, Saturday afternoon. The men’s team dropped to the Bulldogs 178-119, and the women’s 164-136.
MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS |
- Christopher Dauser placed first in the 200-yard IM for the Red Foxes (1:57.17).
- Ethan McCormac placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.64).
- Adam Zaremba placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle in the meet (9:58.92).
- Jack LaBianca placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:00.27).
- Zaremba also placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:48.52).
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team consisting of Tim Engel, Adrian Bankowski, Matt McManus, and Ethan McCormac placed first in the meet (1:25.62).
WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS |
- April Avila placed first in the 100-yard (1:06.41) and 200-yard (2:27.20) breaststroke for the Red Foxes.
- Nellie Thompson placed first in the 50-yard (24.44) and 100-yard (52.84) freestyle for the Red Foxes.
- Caitlyn Riordan placed first in the 200-yard IM for the Red Foxes (2:14.46).
- Milena Judge placed first in the 200-yard backstroke for the Red Foxes (2:07.26).
- Morgan Cassidy placed second on the podium in both the one-meter (203.48) and three-meter dives (219.60).
- Genevieve O’Neil placed second in the 200-yard butterfly for the Red Foxes (2:13.09).
