The 2023 Japan Swim at the Tokyo Aquatics Center is set to begin on Tuesday, April 4th. The six-day competition represents the sole qualifying opportunity for Japanese swimmers to etch their name onto the nation’s consideration roster for this summer’s World Championships in Fukuoka, as well as the Asian Games slated for September.
Swimmers will be up against stiff Japanese Swimming Federation-dictated time standards which have been set at the World Aquatics Olympic Qualification Times for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
All of the active big guns will be diving in including Daiya Seto, Yui Ohashi, Rikako Ikee, Reona Aoki, Ippei Watanabe, Shoma Sato, Tomoru Honda and more.
