2025 Pro Swim Series — Westmont

There were no major surprises scratch-wise for the final morning session of the 2025 Pro Swim Series in Westmont, Illinois. All top three seeds, including names such as Summer McIntosh  in the 200 IM and Shaine Casas in the 100 fly, will swim their events as planned.

The event with the most significant scratches was by far the men’s 100 backstroke, where four of the top ten seeds will not compete. The highest seed to scratch this morning was Canada’s Raben Dommann, who was seeded #5 in the 100 back and #7 in the 100 fly. Dommann has not swum at all this weekend.

U.S. National Teamer Jack Dahlgren lightened his load slightly, dropping the 100 back and focusing on the 50 free and 100 fly. Dahlgren was seeded 9th in the backstroke. #6 seed Berke Saka also opted out of the 100 backstroke to focus on the 200 IM later in the session.

#10 Brady Johnson also scratched the 100 back and the 50 free, where he was seeded 32. Johnson didn’t compete at all this weekend.
