Hilary Caldwell broke onto the international scene in the 200 backstroke in 2013 where she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Barcelona, and this week she’ll be fighting for a spot on the 2015 World Championship roster.
Since 2013, Caldwell has been one of the best backstrokers in Canada, earning herself another bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
This year, there are plenty of top swimmers in the backstrokes right now including 14-year-old up-and-comer from Scottsdale Aquatics Taylor Ruck, Dominique Bouchard, Genevieve Cantin, and Brooklynn Snodgrass.
Caldwell is entered to swim the three backstrokes along with the 200m IM this week.
