Video Interview: Eli Wall Grabs 100 and 200 Breaststroke Victories

University of Toronto’s Eli Wall has emerged as one of the biggest breaststroke forces at this year’s CIS Championships in Victoria, B.C, claiming gold in both the 100 and the 200.

The time in the 100 was a personal best by almost two full seconds.

Varsity Blue’s head coach Byron MacDonald had tons of praise to share about Wall’s performances, “He has earned it in the sense that I would say, and the team would back me up, Eli has been the hardest, most consistent worker on the team this year.”

MacDonald even went on to say, “his improvement even exceeded my expectations. Nice surprise to build on.”

Wall will be swimming the 50m breaststroke on day three.
