The Brandywine YMCA Swim Team in Delaware had a successful meet at the 2014 YMCA Long Course National Championships at IUPUI in Indy.

Specifically, the team accomplished almost every single one of their four pre-meet goals:

  1. Wanted to qualify at least one relay for finals – success, boys’ 200 free relay made finals.
  2. Wanted three individual swims in finals – success, Henry Rogatz was 24th in the 50 free and 7th in the 100 free; Luke Morgan-Scott was tied for 13th in the 50 fly.
  3. Wanted 5 new Long Course Nationals cuts – almost, the team got four!
  4. Move up 700 places over seeds – almost, the team got 523 move-ups from just 13 swimmers.

The above video was produced on a GoPro by Brandywine swimmer Nicole Farina – who happened to be one of the aforementioned four swimmers who picked up a new long course Nationals cut in her 100 fly.
