CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI Swimming and Diving meet schedule is set for the upcoming 2019-20 season, including six home meets at Glen F. Henry Pool in the Wellness and Recreation Center.
The Panthers host three Division I opponents at home including Nebraska (Oct. 12) and South Dakota (Nov. 9). Senior Day will be Jan. 25 against Nebraska-Omaha at 2 p.m. Additionally, Minnesota-Mankato visits Cedar Falls on Oct. 18 and Coe College on Dec. 6.
The first road meet features Iowa and Michigan State in Iowa City on Oct. 4. The team faces another in-state rival when visiting Iowa State, along with a joining North Texas, on Jan 31.-Feb. 1. The Panthers travel to Western Illinois (Jan.17) and Illinois State (Jan. 18) during a road trip into bordering Illinois.
The Panthers are set to return to the Kansas Classic (Nov. 22-24) in Topeka for a mid-season, prelim/final invitational. The team also participates in a quad-dual with South Dakota, South Dakota State, and St. Cloud State on Nov. 1-2 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The annual Purple and Gold meet is slated for Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.
For the second season, the MVC Championships (Feb. 19-22) will be held on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia. The Panthers won nine events in this venue at last year’s conference championships. Championship season concludes with the NCAA Championships (March 18-21) in Athens, Georgia.
