BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M’s Jaxon Bowshire capped off an impressive 2024-25 season being named SEC Male Freshman Diver of the Year, while also earning All-SEC First Team and SEC All-Freshman Team accolades, the conference office announced Thursday. Baylor Nelson and Travis Gulledge were also recognized by the league as they were named to the All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Freshman Team, respectively.

Bowshire became just the second men’s platform SEC Champion in program history and the first freshman SEC Champion on the men’s side since 2016 when he claimed gold in the event at his first SEC Championships with the second-highest score in school history, 476.25. The Adelaide, Australia, native went on to earn All-America honors at NCAA Championships after finishing as the national-runner up on platform, notching the highest finish in the event by an Aggie.
