We all speak the same language when it comes to fast racing and thrilling finishes in the sport of swimming, which is why this Russian Federation-produced video highlighting athletes set to compete at the 2015 FINA World Championships is so eye-catching.
Big guns Yulia Efimova, James Magnussen, Emily Seebohm, Chris Walker-Hebborn, and Sarah Sjostrom are just some of the world’s stars seen flying off the blocks and doing their thing, all in the name of keeping anticipation of this year’s greatest swimming event on an upward trajectory.
Top speedsters Florent Manaudou and Vladimir Morozov, in particular, will be meeting on more than one occasion, as the pair are ranked as the world’s number one and number two in both sprint freestyle events. Per below, Manaudou sits atop the men’s 50m freestyle throne with his 21.57 from April’s Elite French Championships, while Morozov is the only man in the world to have swum a sub-48 100m freestyle thus far this year. The Russian sits at the helm of the men’s 100m freestyle world rankings with his time of 47.98 earned at this year’s Russian National Championships.

The 2015 FINA World Swimming Championships take place in Kazan, Russian July 24-August 9, 2015.
Definitely did NOT excite me at all. Like the medals, pretty average.
Not surprised the Russian Federation put Efimova in the video. They have no shame and are probably in bed with FINA on several issues.
Hey good promo vid, but can’t see Chris WH in there. something or someone is confused
I don’t remember seeing Vlad Morozov having that much emphasis on the straight arm sprint. Maybe it’s time to rewatch some of his races.
He always had a straight arm stroke, although it was never this pronounced. Its beginning to look like Eamon Sullivan’s stroke now
