Swimming Canada Seeks applications for 2014-2015 Select Coaches Group program

Swimming Canada is seeking applications for its 2014-2015 Select Coaches Group program. Applications are available HERE and should be forwarded as soon as possible with the closing date set for August 31st, 2014.

Coaches interested should send a cover letter a brief resume and list their top athletes in their programs. Experience, NCCP level, junior and senior international experience along with talent level of their swimmers will be given top consideration.

A total of six coaches will be selected four interviews with a maximum of four positions attributed. The Select Coaches Group Workshop is scheduled for December 18-21 in a location to be determined. Those chosen for the Select Coaches Group Program can visit a Mentor coach Program between October 1 and December 2015 for one week with a set funding provided by Swimming Canada.

‘’The talent in our Canadian swimming coaches ranks is critical to our continued success on the international stage and developing our talented Canadian athletes,’’ said Swimming Canada High Performance Director John Atkinson.

‘’This program can make an impact for a select group of coaches to be given information designed to achieve success on the world stage.”
