Every April, Savannah College of Art and Design hosts a Sidewalk Arts Festival in downtown Savannah’s Forsyth Park. The 33rd annual edition took place on Saturday, April 26. Thousands of visitors were treated to temporary chalk masterpieces created on the walkways that border the park, and approximately 1,000 SCAD students, alumni and prospective students competed for prizes.
Members of the SCAD men’s and women’s swimming teams (who finished third and second, respectively, at NAIA Nationals) were among the competitors at this year’s festival. Take a peek at some of their masterpieces-in-progress.
