Stanford’s Aurora Roghair Wins Division I Women’s Elite 90 Award

2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships

The 2025 Elite 90 award winner is Aurora Roghair from Stanford. The senior holds a 4.0 GPA and is pursuing a degree in Human Biology.

The award is given every year to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average who competes at the respective NCAA Championships in the sport. Eligibility requires that athletes must have been a member of their team for at least two years and be an active participant at the championship competition.

Roghair made NCAAs in all four seasons with the Cardinal. As a freshman, she finished 15th in the 1650 free, 19th in the 500 free, and 25th in the 200 free.

During her sophomore campaign, she swam to 17th in the 1650 free, 20th in the 200 free, and 30th in the 500 free.

She had a breakout junior season, swimming to numerous lifetime bests at NCAAs where she scored in all three events. She swam to a 2nd place finish in the 1650 free touching in a 15:41.11. She also was 4th in the 500 free swimming a 4:34.26. She finished 12th in the 200 free and swam on Stanford’s 800 free relay that finished 3rd.

So far in Federal Way, Roghair has already captured an NCAA title as she swam the 2nd leg of Stanford’s 800 free relay that finished first in a 6:46.98. Roghair split a 1:41.89. Last night, she finished 2nd in the 500 free swimming a 4:33.90. She is the top seed out of the ‘B’ final tonight, swimming a 1:43.31 in prelims.
