Sasha Soroosh, a current high school senior from Laguna Hills, California, has committed to swim for Division I University of California, Davis. Soroosh will graduate from Laguna Hills High School in spring 2021 join the Aggie’s class of 2025.
Soroosh is a Sectionals and Futures qualifier who swims for the Mission Viejo Nadadores swim team. At the 2019 CA MVN Summer Junior Olymics, Soroosh won the 200 LCM backstroke with a time of 2:26.48.

At the 2020 MPSF Championships, Soroosh would have placed 7th in the 1650 freestyle (17:11.05) and 14th in the 500 freestyle (4:59.16) for the Aggies with her current best times. With her 1650 freestyle time she would have been UCD’s second fastest mile swimmer at that meet.
At this meet, the Aggies placed 4th as a team and were given CSCAA Scholar All-American team status. Additionally, 18 team members were given All-Conference awards and more than 10 Aggie swimmers were selected to the MPSF All-Academic team for the 10th year in a row.
