Brendan McHugh, future lawyer, made a huge breakout with an amazing start and solidified his spot on his first Pan Pac Team with a 27.24. Kevin Cordes took second with a time 27.33.
Brad Craig of Tennessee took the B final with a 27.99 after he swam the fastest time in the 100 breast of 2014 and dropped some time from his prelims swim of 28.05.
Connor Hoppe took the C final after a great Junior National meet with a 28.40 as Joe Kmak took second with a time of 29.37.

Congratulations to Brendan! I don’t know how much longer he has until graduation from law school, but I hope he will consider increasing his training to make a run at the US Olympic Team, because his stroke is powerful!
Congrat’s also to Jared! I’m sure all of SwimSwam’s members were as jealous of him as I was; swimming in a USNational Trials Final is a dream for many! I noticed that his 100 time dropped significantly too! You have my support as you prepare for the Olympic Trials as well, Jared! Plus, it will be great for SwimSwam to have a reporter on the “inside” to get us juicy details nobody else can report! LOL!
