Luke Hobson took home gold in the 500 free last night with a time of 4:07.37. Hobson, only a sophomore at Texas, is now a part of the long history the Longhorns have with the 500 freestyle at NCAA’s. He shares what it feels like to add his name to the list, “Townley and Clark Smith… it’s cool to live up to their reputation in Texas men’s swimming.”
I dont know if he was shocked to win or just tired but he didnt look very happy inmediatly after the race. Guess he expected to be even faster
I assumed he wanted the record.
I think it will be a huge upset if he doesn’t win the 200
I’m really interested to see his 100 after an 18 mid relay and 1:29 in the 200
41 mid hopefully
