Katrina Radke interviews Noah Lucas, record breaker and winner of the 500, and the 4th place finisher, Mitch Herrera, on their fast swims. This was quite a race. The top four finishers broke the MN AA State Record, (4:31.69), set by Pete Stacy of Moundsview. The top three beat Olympian Tom Malchow’s MN All time record, of 4:28.00.
In 4th place, Mitch Herrera of Lakeville South went 4:32.32.
In 3rd place, Erick Huft of Edina went 4:27.61 with an amazing last 50 of 25.11.
Jonathan Lieberman of Edina was 2nd with a time of 4:26.78, with a blazing last 50 of 25.16.
The winning time of 4:26.47 went to Noah Lucas, of Moundsview.
