Andrea Schmidt of Missoula, Montana, has signed a letter of intent to swim at Northern Arizona University starting in the fall of 2015.
Schmidt swims at the Missoula Aquatic Club and is a senior at Missoula’s Sentinel High School. She won the 100 and 200 freestyles at the 2014 Montana High School State Meet. The previous year she placed third in the 100 fly and third in the 500 free. As a freshman she finished second in the 50 free and swam on all three of Sentinel’s relays.

Schmidt will be an immediate-impact player for the Lumberjacks. She would have made the A-final in the 50 free and 200 fly, and the B-final in the 100 fly at the 2014 Western Athletic Conference championships.
