Although he has been living in Tempe, Arizona since his long-time coach Bob Bowman accepted the Arizona State head coaching job, 23-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps is forever a Baltimore boy. An avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens NFL team, Phelps has previously run the organization’s Twitter account, while his 200m IM final at the 2016 Olympic Games was also broadcast on the stadium’s big screen during the squad’s pre-season game on August 11th.
The most decorated Olympian of all-time was granted another privilege by the team, as 31-year-old Phelps led the Ravens through the tunnel to the stadium at the beginning of yesterday’s game against the Washington Redskins. Wearing a special edition jersey emblazoned with the number ’16’ and his last name ‘Phelps’ on the back, his hometown crowd roared to its feet when the die-hard Ravens fan entered the stadium.
Social media was also full of images of Phelps and lifelong friend, former Ravens player Ray Lewis, as the two notable athletes reunited for the game. Lewis said, “I’m super proud of him”, regarding Phelps’ accomplishments in Rio.
Baby Boomer, now 5 months old, was also in on the action, complete with his own jersey and signature hearing protection.

Then they lose and fire their offensive coordinator! Stick to swimming
Negative people who are just hating anything that Phelps, Bowman and ASU are doing! I see the pattern.
You will see a LOT of hating on this website. It means nothing. Just trolls. Now let’s see if I get a few red numbers. It’s a game now.
