The Bellevue Club Swim Team (BCST) is an elite year-round program that develops some of the most competitive swimmers in the country. The BCST program is searching for an experienced and dedicated Senior Age Group Coach to join the team. This individual will coach and administer the Bellevue Club Swim Team program while following the goals and mission of the Bellevue Club. In addition, this role provides the leadership enabling participants to achieve their maximum potential in an enjoyable and disciplined learning/training environment.
Shift: M-Sat 3 PM-9 PM

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plans, organizes, develops and conducts training sessions for the BCST Swim Team swimmers.
- Ensures that swimmers involved in the BCST Swim Team program participate regularly in team workouts, training sessions, and meetings. Maintains detailed records of all swimmer’s workouts and attendance.
- Enter, manage meet entries, accompanies swimmers to scheduled meets. Supervises pre-meet warmups and motivates and evaluates swimmers during the meet.
- Ensures that all workouts and training sessions administered are safe and complete, and that the workouts accomplish the competitive goals of the BCST swim team program.
- Attends all scheduled coaches’ meeting
- Maintains a current knowledge of the training and administrative needs of a highly competitive youth swimming program and conveys this information to the Swim Team coaching staff to implement as appropriate.
- Conducts bi-annual, written short course season and long course season goal setting session with each swimmer in the individual group, covering all aspects of their training and performance.
- Communicates with families regularly for all team related activities.
- Write, edit bi-monthly team newsletters.
- Performs similar job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
