Essential duties and responsibilities
- Assist in departmental outreach initiatives, independently develop relationships and acquire new customers.
- Travel and attend major competitions, clinics and other notable events as needed to service team and athlete needs as well as provide a visible brand representative at the event to communicate with teams and athletes.
- Manage product requests by sponsored and un-sponsored athletes
- Manage and track promotional orders for sponsored athletes, including out-of-system custom orders for National Team events. Ensure all National Team custom products for TYR athletes adhere to National Federation and/or FINA guidelines.
- Interface between sponsored teams, accounts and their Regional Sales Representatives to ensure contract fulfillment regarding championship meet qualifier benefits.
- Maintain annual event calendar for major competitions, clinics and other notable events as they relate to sponsored team and athlete support. Liaise with Marketing Department regarding any marketing needs at events.
Requirements of position
- College diploma preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- One to three years promotional, administrative assistance or coaching experience required.

The successful candidate will have all required USA Swimming certifications, completed bachelors degree, ASCA level 4 or above preferred. The coach must be passionate about swimming, have outstanding knowledge of technique and training design, strong communication skills, willingness to work hard to achieve team/individual goals, and a vision to help MOR grow and excel. 3. Supports an environment that emphasizes academics as a priority, making every effort to ensure that all student-athletes meet academic requirements, while working to integrate sports into the academic life of the University.
4. Supports discipline in the program, promotes fairness, understanding and protectiveness of student-athletes while motivating them.
5. Helps to create an environment of cooperation and continuous improvement, maintaining positive communications supporting the athletic program, the University and University staff.
6. Participates in marketing and promotional activities with media, alumni and civic groups consistent with the objectives of the athletic program.
7. Assists with recruiting evaluations, official visits and any travel-related activities of prospective student-athletes.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Envious Swimming of Rhode Island is in search of a lead site coach to help build this site and develop its swimmers.
The applicant will be responsible for writing and conducting practices, dryland programing, coach development, parent education and coordinating with our swim school on transitioning swimmers from Learn to Swim to Competitive swimming. This is a 16 – 22 hours per week position plus swim meets. Compensation is $25 -$32 per hour based on experience.
Envious Swimming is looking for qualified coaches:
– in good Standing with USA Swimming
– with marketing and advertising ideas to help build the program
– competent in working with Parents and Booster Clubs
