The TYR Sports Promotions Representative position is to support all promotional needs for swimming, diving and water polo teams and athletes. Ideally, the Representative will have a swimming background and is expected to travel and attend major competitions and events that require a brand presence for the purpose of visibility as well as servicing our professional athletes and sponsored teams.

The Representative also has a business development role and will be expected to have the ability to sell the benefits of the Company’s programs and brand to prospective partners. They will assist with outreach initiatives developed by the department with the goal of acquiring new business. The Representative’s primary responsibilities include interfacing with the Team Sales & Promotions Manager, the TYR Sports Promotions Coordinator and Regional Sales Representatives in order to acquire new teams, service existing teams and work astutely within Salesforce.com to monitor deadlines and requested information. Independently, the Representative must regularly communicate to existing sponsored teams to ensure continuous dialogue and contact between the team and the brand.

It is expected that Representative will, without prompting, assist in meeting all sales program and promotional calendar deadlines.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  1. Assist in departmental outreach initiatives, independently develop relationships and acquire new customers.
  2. Travel and attend major competitions, clinics and other notable events as needed to service team and athlete needs as well as provide a visible brand representative at the event to communicate with teams and athletes.
  3. Manage product requests by sponsored and un-sponsored athletes
  4. Manage and track promotional orders for sponsored athletes, including out-of-system custom orders for National Team events. Ensure all National Team custom products for TYR athletes adhere to National Federation and/or FINA guidelines.
  5. Interface between sponsored teams, accounts and their Regional Sales Representatives to ensure contract fulfillment regarding championship meet qualifier benefits.
  6. Maintain annual event calendar for major competitions, clinics and other notable events as they relate to sponsored team and athlete support. Liaise with Marketing Department regarding any marketing needs at events.

Requirements of position

  1. College diploma preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  2. One to three years promotional, administrative assistance or coaching experience required.
  3. Proficient in PC based computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and Google Enterprise.
  4. Organized, good communication skills, systems friendly, and must possess a multi-tasking ability.
  5. Lifting containers with product and apparel to be used for event presentations. Assisting in the set-up of a display booth for clinics or events. Occasional product testing.

The City of Dublin operates two competitive swimming programs for the Dublin Community. The Dublin Sea Dragons are a year round USA swimming club and is home to 300+ swimmers and placed in the top ten at state championship for age group swimming. Our Dublin Dolphins program is run during the summer season at our outdoor community pools as a strictly rec based league that is a feeder program into our Sea Dragons team.

Candidate must assist in the creation, coordination and implementation of recreational swim team programs to meet the needs of the local community. Provides a high level of customer service responding to customer inquiries and/or complaints.

The successful candidate will design the training plan for our top Srs at that site which include 14 of the 34 NCSA Jr. National qualifiers MOR had this year. There are 3 experienced and talented full time coaches at the N. Raleigh site that successfully funnel new talent to the Sr. group regularly.

Duties include but not limited to:

Designing training plans, positively motivating elite athletes while moving developing athletes to the next level of swimming, completing meet entries, communication with parents, designing dryland/wts program, scheduling 3 pools, promoting MOR in the community, participating in NC Swimming, communicating successfully with other staff, Team Unify website edits, recruiting from the summer league by attending summer meets and conducting clinics. The N. Raleigh Sr. coach will report to Head Coach Paul Silver.


The successful candidate will have all required USA Swimming certifications, completed bachelors degree, ASCA level 4 or above preferred. The coach must be passionate about swimming, have outstanding knowledge of technique and training design, strong communication skills, willingness to work hard to achieve team/individual goals, and a vision to help MOR grow and excel. Applicants must currently reside in the US. Start date is spring, 2015.

Lead 10-under Site Swim Coach

We have over 700 athletes and we are a perennial Gold and Silver Medal Club at 3 locations in the greater San Diego area. The position requires someone who can work with novice level athletes as well as elite age group swimmers and is someone with a passion for working with children and as well has a passion for the sport.

You will be a “head coach” of the 10-under program in Carlsbad (currently at 180 swimmers with a growth potential of 240 swimmers) so great administrative and leadership skills are required. Previous experience in a business or educational environment is required as well. The candidate must have excellent communication and teaching skills and embrace the long term developmental philosophy of the program. You must have strong computer skills and a good understanding of Team Unify. You will collaborate directly with our 10-under head coach at our La Jolla, Ca. site to develop the curriculum of the 10-under program and work in consensus with the other lead coaches.

Within the larger Asphalt Green community, the Head Coach is expected to work in partnership with Asphalt Green’s Swim School, the Development Department, the Sports Department, Asphalt Green senior managers, and other stakeholders. The team is positioned as a lead program in Asphalt Green’s competitive sports portfolio, and integration of the team and its values and content with all of Asphalt Green will be a key element of the Head Coach’s responsibilities.


ASCA level 5 certification or equivalent preferred. Must be a member in good standing with USA Swimming. Strong track record as an outstanding technical swim coach with demonstrated leadership and communication skills. Experience with Team Unify, Daktronics and Hytek software a plus.

This is a #2 Assistant Coach Position and will assist the Head Coach in administrating a NCAA Division 1 men’s and women’s program.


1. Develops a fundamental knowledge and maintains compliance of rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics while working within the department’s rules, regulations, and policies.
2. Participates in the effective recruiting, instruction and coaching of student-athletes, emphasizing fundamentals, conditioning, game preparation and strategy.
3. Supports an environment that emphasizes academics as a priority, making every effort to ensure that all student-athletes meet academic requirements, while working to integrate sports into the academic life of the University.
4. Supports discipline in the program, promotes fairness, understanding and protectiveness of student-athletes while motivating them.
5. Helps to create an environment of cooperation and continuous improvement, maintaining positive communications supporting the athletic program, the University and University staff.
6. Participates in marketing and promotional activities with media, alumni and civic groups consistent with the objectives of the athletic program.
7. Assists with recruiting evaluations, official visits and any travel-related activities of prospective student-athletes.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Envious Swimming of Rhode Island is in search of a lead site coach to help build this site and develop its swimmers.


The applicant will be responsible for writing and conducting practices, dryland programing, coach development, parent education and coordinating with our swim school on transitioning swimmers from Learn to Swim to Competitive swimming. This is a 16 – 22 hours per week position plus swim meets. Compensation is $25 -$32 per hour based on experience.
