Job:

techniques and training methodologies. Strong understanding of overall
balance of training for distance training, taper techniques. 
 Strong organizational ability to manage multiple tasks and events

 Proficient in use of coaching software (e.g. XPS), Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – or equivalent) and email.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to
effectively interact with athletes, parents and staff.

Breidablik Swim Club
The Breidablik Swim Club has guided, trained and motivated swimmers at all levels
of recreational training and competitive swimming since 1968. The Breidablik swim
club is a member of The Icelandic Swimming Association (SSÍ) that operates within
The National Olympic and Sports Association of Iceland (ÍSÍ).

The facilities include both 25m and 50m pools at two locations in the town
Kopavogur (in the Capital Region). The swimming pools are part of the infrastructure
of geothermal pools that have evolved within the unique swim loving culture in
Iceland. While we have highly successful competitive swim team, we also foster the
ideology that every person has the potential to pursue swimming lifestyle.
The Breidablik swim team has had the fortune to celebrate increased success at
competitive level in recent years. For an instance, the team won its first National
Trophy (bikarkeppni) in year 2019. Since 2016 the team members have set 11
individual and 5 relays Junior National Icelandic records. During current long course
(50m) season the Breidablik team has won 6 Icelandic Champions (4 individual and
2 relay). Further, during the Icelandic Championship we set Icelandic Junior Records
in all (3 out of 3) of our Women relay events (4x100m Freestyle, 4x200m Freestyle
and 4x100m Medley).
The team has had several participants that have won place in the national team level
and its future youth programs. During current long course season Breidablik team
members will be representing Iceland at the following international events:
– 3x Swimmers going to the Nordic Age Group Championships in June
– 1x Swimmer going to the European Junior Championships in July

Position Details Associate Head Coach & Swim Team Administrator:

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.

Florida Tech’s 2023 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public properly within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.

The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.

The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

As the Head Coach, you will oversee the organizational structure, day-to-day operations, financial aspects, and event management of our swim team. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with USA Swimming regulations, efficient online registration processes, and seamless coordination of team events and meets.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary coach for the Senior program(s)
