The Preserve Piranhas Swim Team is a summer swim program for Ages 6 – 18, plus a development program for ages 3-6, and is part of the Rocky Mountain Swim League (RMSL). Roughly 100 local kids participate on the team each summer and the home pool is short course meters (outdoor) and located in Greenwood Village, CO. The team is governed by the Preserve Piranhas Swim Team Board comprised of volunteer parent representatives. We are committed to fostering a source of fun, joy, and meaning for the kids and building a sense of community in the neighborhood through competitive swimming and team building.
Job Details:
• Contribute to and advance the team mission. Provide coaching to ensure swimmer development and promote positive team dynamics. Implement and improve the existing program to attract and retain swimmers. Provide positive representation of the team locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Exhibit professionalism and comply with the RMSL Coaches Code of Conduct.
• Responsible for managing 5 – 7 assistant and junior coaches across all age groups and communicating directly with team parents.
• Train and coach participants by teaching stroke work, competition, and personal development.
