Liliána Szilágyi, a butterflier from Kőbánya Swimming Club in Budapest who competed for Hungary at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, has announced she will join the University of Florida women’s swimming and diving team in January 2017. Szilágyi had excellent swims in the heats of the women’s 100 and 200 meter butterflies in Rio. She qualified through to the semi-finals of the 100 fly with the ninth-fastest time, 57.70.
