Women’s 100 Fly – Singapore FINA World Cup – as reported by SwimSwam editor-in-cheif Braden Keith:

After maybe a bit of a surprise in the 200 free, Katinka Hosszu was able to fight back in the 100 fly and beat her stiffest 100 fly competition yet: Australia’s Alicia Coutts and Sweden’s Sarah Sjostrom. Those two took 2nd and 1st, respectively, at this summer’s World Championships

Though Coutts went out a ways better than her Hungarian competitor, Hosszu’s last 50 didn’t fail her this time, as she won in 56.58. Coutts took 2nd in 56.67, and Sjostrom took 3rd in 57.52.

Canada’s Katerine Savard took 4th in 57.82, and Emma McKeon was 5th in 57.88.
