The FINA President Dr. Julio C. Maglione was today in Lausanne (SUI) for a signing ceremony with Chinese sportswear company Hosa, a new series sponsor of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series. The agreement covers the period 2015-2017 and will include the provision of swimwear and sportswear for this prestigious annual series.
“China has a great tradition in this spectacular discipline and this association with Hosa will certainly create an added-value for the exposure of this competition in your beautiful country”, considered the FINA President Dr. Julio C. Maglione. “Your well-known reputation and your solid status of success in China are the best guarantee for a strong and durable partnership. I am also sure that your association with Diving and its great Stars will bring an essential enhancement for your activities”, concluded Dr. Maglione.
Hongliu Shi, Hosa Chairman, also praised this agreement: “We are strongly committed to be associated with the successful aquatics sports. This is part of our effort of globalisation, and we are proud to reach some of the best competitors in the world”, Mr. Shi declared. “In China, we constantly aim at promoting a better and healthier lifestyle for our youth: we now hope this effort to get wider”, considered the Hosa Chairman.
The 2015 edition of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series will include stops in Beijing (CHN, March 13-15), Dubai (UAE, March 19-21), Kazan (RUS, April 24-26), London (GBR, May 1-3), Windsor (CAN, May 22-24) and Mexico City (MEX, May 29-31).
On December 14, 2014 FINA and Hosa were together in Beijing (CHN), to sign a new agreement by which the Chinese company became title sponsor of the FINA/HOSA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup, also for the period 2015-2017.
