It’s been a while before we’ll watch super Pan smoke the field anew.

I can’t find their exact selection procedures but I believe they have an open qualifying. Best swimmers with the standards at any sanctioned qualifying competition go. They were boasting about swimmers hitting standards in Stockholm, for example.

Not really sure what Pan’s been up to he’s been afk lately which to his credit, seems like a good decision. He could throw down something nasty in the 50 or 200

Just took a peek at the Psych sheets and this meet has a lot of top American and International stars including a large contingent of Canadian’s attending.

Lukas Martens will swim the 400 free again on the first day of german champs. Maybe another world record?

He’s almost always the fastest at German champs. Another WR would be epic.

Pan Zhanle has been out of the public eye for more than half a year, and has been immersed in training. Let’s go ,Panzhanle! Definitely something to look forward to!

Curious if he’s focused on the 200 too. If he’s really going for it his times can be scary

Don’t forget the final 50 of the 200 WR. Need a monster first 100 to beat that

It’s been a minute since this has been talked about but we know that Yu Zidi has a very likely shot to make the Chinese worlds team this year but does she have a chance to challenge some records this year?

Maybe some national junior records? Not familiar with those standards but the WJRs on the women side are extremely fast so probably not those.

thats the other thing either there is no official record book for jr athletes in china or it’s very obscure. Wonder if SwimSwam might be able to help here.
