I am very happy to have Donny Brush join us at American College Connection. Donny replaces Jessica Berkowitz-Minier as Assistant Director of Swimming and joins our other Assistant Director, Paul Stearns.
Coach Brush is currently serving as an assistant coach at Fishers Area Swimming Tigers in Fishers, Indiana. As a testament to his desire to work with young people, Coach Brush resigned from Indiana at the end of December while serving at the Associate Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Swimming in order to get back on deck to work directly with the swimmers at Fishers.
I have known and worked with him since he has been at Indiana. He recruited many of our swimmers and signed several including Brooklyn Snodgrass from Calgary. Brook finished 3rd in the 100 back at NCAA’s last year as a freshman.
Donny is one of the few people who have outworked me in the last several years and like Paul Stearns, he has a passion for helping young people. I talked with a lot of people before we brought him on board, but just like his mentor, Eddie Reese, no one has a negative thing to say about him.
