Simone Biles And Suni Lee Look For Individual All-Around Gold
Americans Simone Biles and Suni Lee will both compete in the individual all-around final for women’s gymnastics today. Lee is the defending gold medalist in the event while Biles did not compete in the event in Tokyo after withdrawing, citing the twisties. Biles won the event at the 2016 Rio Games so the two enter as heavy favorites and one will come out on top.
Athletics Begins With 20km Walk
Both the men’s and women’s 20km walk kick off athletics (track and field) competition. The two are the only events for the day.
