Top 16 Women in Each Event Through the NCAA Midseason Break
Now that the 2nd round of 2016 midseason invites for NCAA teams are in the books, we’ve put together a list of the top NCAA swimmers in each women’s event up to this point.
2016 Texas Invite: Townley Haas Outside Smokes 200 Free in Day 3 Finals
It was all outside smoke in the men’s 200 free final. Texas’ Townley Haas, who squeaked into the top 8 this morning, and Stanford’s Grant Shoults, who got scratched in after taking 9th in prelims, were the fastest 2 swimmers tonight.

Olympic gold medalist Clark Smith followed up his fast 500 free victory last night with the top 200 free time in this morning’s prelims at the 2016 Texas Invite.
2016 Texas Invite Day 2 Finals: Cox Downs School Record with 1:52 200 IM
Texas standout Madisyn Cox was on fire tonight, breaking Kathleen Hersey’s former school record in the 200 IM with a 1:52.83. That also makes her the 10th fastest performer of all time.
