Virginia Opens 2013-14 Campaign at Navy Friday

The meet, which will be UVa’s first under first-year head coach Augie Busch, will be contested in 25 meters, as opposed to the 25 yards that will be seen in the rest of the Cavaliers’ meets this season. Live results will be available and linked through VirginiaSports.com.

“We are excited to swim against some great competition this weekend,” said NC State head coach Braden Holloway. “It’s been a long time since NC State has been in Tallahassee. The meet is going to be outdoors, so I think the team is excited for a change in scenery.”

Wolfpack Women Win, Men Fall at Virginia Tech

“After an adventurous ride to Blacksburg, we had an up and down battle today with the Hokies,” said head coach Braden Holloway. “The ladies’ victory was a total team effort and it was great for them. For the guys, it was a rough day. Virginia Tech was ready for us and did a good job. The guys are going to have to be better in order to have success at this level.”
