The DeLoof name is one that is quite well known in Michigan waters. All 4 (that’s right, 4!) DeLoof sisters swim or have swam at Michigan. Between the sisters, there are multiple NCAA All American awards, Honorable mentions, and the older 3 all competed at the 2016 Olympic Trials together. And to top it all off, they all live in the same house in Ann Arbor.
I had the privilege of spending 2 afternoons with the DeLoof family in Atlanta, once for this carpool and once going to lunch. They were so much fun, and you could really tell that Catie, Gabby, Ali, and Richard all have their own personalities and roles in the family. And I didn’t even get to meet Jackie or Mom!
