QUOTES FORM HEAD COACH MIKE SMIECHOWSKI
“Despite the result, our women performed very good for this time of year, and I am very excited about it. We must give credit to Cleveland State women. Despite our good performance, they were very tough to beat. Coach Trent Richardson has done a great job with that group, and the Viking women are having a breakout year.”

“Meets like this, we need to look at how we are progressing going into championships, and I think we are right on track for a breakout performance of our own. We are competing with every team we swim and dive against, which is a step in the right direction. That’s a testament to our seniors, who committed to digging in and establishing a championship culture, and I could not be prouder of that group. We aren’t where we are as a program without the senior/graduate student women who were honored tonight.”

QUOTES FORM HEAD COACH MIKE SMIECHOWSKI
“This was a great win for our men on senior night and a great barometer for us. Cleveland State is well coached, consistently a top-two team in the Horizon League, and undefeated coming into our meet. Our men dominated early and battled to hold onto the lead when they surged at the end.”

“We are learning how to win as a team, how to win close races individually, and we are swimming and diving with incredible confidence. We hope to close out the year with another win at Colgate and set us up for a great run at Atlantic 10 Championships.”
