CIF-SS Butterfly Champ Connor Lee Commits to Yale Bulldogs

South Pasadena, California’s Connor Lee has committed to the application process* at Yale University for 2019-20. Lee is a senior at Loyola High School; he swims year-round for Rosemead Rapids.

A senior at Loyola High School, Lee won the 100 fly (47.82) at the 2018 CIF-Southern Section Division I Championships in May. He also placed 4th in the 50 free (20.60), led off the 4th-place 200 free relay (20.80), and led off the runner-up 400 free relay (44.86), helping assure the Cubs’ runner-up finish in the team standings. In club swimming, he achieved PBs in the 100 free (51.19), 100 breast (1:05.93), 100 fly (53.67), and 200 fly (2:03.41) at 2018 Speedo Junior Nationals, finaling in the 100 free (16th), 100 fly (4th), and 200 fly (21st).

Lee would have made the A final in the 100 fly at 2018 Ivy League Men’s Championships, joining senior Aaron Greenberg. He would have been a B finalist in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 fly.
