Bucknell Adds Another: 2:00 Backstroker Emma Feld (2022)

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Austin Swim Club backstroker Emma Feld is the latest addition to Bucknell’s class of 2026. Feld had trained with Asphalt Green in New York City up until the start of the pandemic, and she’s been mostly competing in Texas since last summer.

TOP TIMES (SCY)

  • 100 back – 56.80
  • 200 back – 2:00.26
  • 100 fly – 56.43
  • 200 fly – 2:03.72
  • 200 IM – 2:06.90
  • 400 IM – 4:26.33
  • 200 free – 1:52.50

Feld is a versatile talent, with strengths in backstroke, fly and IM. Her lifetime bests in the 200 free and 100 fly are from December 2020.

Last season, Feld would’ve ranked in the top-three on the Bucknell roster in the 100 back, 200 back, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM. At the 2020 Patriot League Championships, Feld would’ve placed in A-finals in the 400 IM and 200 back, so she should be an immediate contributor to the Bison program.

Feld joins Megan Leyden and Claire Kehley in Bucknell’s class of 2026.
