Bolles Freestyler Lexi Riley Sends Verbal Commitment To Wooster

The College of Wooster women will be getting a boost in the freestyle department next season, as Lexi Riley from the Bolles School Sharks has given her verbal to join the Fighting Scots in the fall. Riley will be making the move to Wooster from Jacksonville, Florida, where she’s currently a senior at The Bolles School.

Last season, Riley qualified to swim the 200 free and 500 free at the Florida High School 1A State Championships. She cracked the top 16 in both of those races, setting a new personal best 1:55.03 in the 200 free in the process. She also placed in the top 5 of both events at the FHSAA 1A District 2 and FHSAA 1A Region 1 meets.

Riley’s Top Times:

  • 50 free- 25.00
  • 100 free- 53.11
  • 200 free- 1:55.03
  • 500 free- 5:11.30
  • 100 fly- 59.66
  • 200 IM- 2:15.18

When Riley starts at Wooster, she’ll likely have an immediate scoring impact at the NCAC Championships. Her times in the 200 free and 500 free are already fast enough to have scored in the B-final at the conference meet last season.

At Wooster, she’ll be training with Emma Fikse, Maggie Layde, and Sarah Padrutt, who all sored in the 200 free and/or 500 free at 2016 NCACs.
