Isabella Paez

Isabella Paez:

Isabella, known to her team as Isa, was born in Venezuela before moving to Miami, Florida.  Isa started her swim career in Miami where she swam for Metro Aquatic Club of Miami and then for her high school, Ronald Reagan Doral.  Her junior year she was district and regional champion in the 100 fly and 200 IM.  And as a senior she was district, regional and state champion in the 100 fly.  She has continued her career at Duke, adding to the strong butterfly program the Blue Devils have.

Club:

In Miami, Isa is a part of Metro Aquatic Club of Miami where she swims for Kirk Peppas.  Under Kirk, Isa was a 2012 Olympic Trials qualifier and a 2013 World Championship Trials and Junior Nationals qualifier.  As a member of the Venezuelan National Team, Isa competed in the 2010 Junior Worlds in Peru and in the 2014 South American Games where she was second in the 200 fly.

Personal:

Isa plans to major in Public Policy while receiving the Markets and Management Certificate.
