Kelsi Worrell Sets NCAA Meet Record with 2nd Fastest 200 Fly Ever

Louisville’s Kelsi Worrell slipped under the NCAA meet record in the women’s 200 fly this morning, clocking a 1:50.61 to take the top seed after prelims. The previous record was held by Stanford’s Elaine Breeden. Breeden held the mark at 1:50.98 from NCAAs in 2009.

2016 Women’s NCAA Updated Team Score Predictions: Day 3 Finals

Stanford was faced with a devastating 200 free relay DQ on the first night, but after a strong showing in tonight’s finals that included wins in the 400 IM and 200 medley relay, they’ve put themselves back into position to compete for the team title.

Miranda Tucker Breaks Breeja Larson’s 100 Breast NAG Record

At the 2016 Women’s NCAA Championships, Indiana freshman Miranda Tucker swam to a new 17-18 National Age Group Record in the women’s 100 breast. She was 3rd place in her first ever NCAA championship final, posting a time of 58.10.

Rachel Bootsma Wins NCAA Title with 6th Fastest 100 Back of All Time

Cal’s Rachel Bootsma raced to an NCAA title ahead of a loaded 100 back field during Friday finals at the 2016 Women’s NCAA Championships. The senior finished her last collegiate 100 backstroke with a time of 50.28, the 6th fastest performance of all time.

Lilly King Smashes 57 Second Barrier to Set 100 Breast American Record

Indiana’s Lilly King crushed her own American, NCAA, and U.S. Open Record in the 100 breaststroke finals at the 2016 Women’s NCAA Championships. In a historic swim, King smashed through the 57 second barrier to set the new record at 56.85.

Kelsi Worrell Crushes 100 Fly American Record

Louisville’s Kelsi Worrell blasted a new American, NCAA, and U.S. Open Record on Friday night at the 2016 Women’s NCAA Championships. Worrell swam a 49.43 in her last 100 fly as a collegiate swimmer, repeating as the NCAA Champion in this event.

Stanford leads the teams in number of A finalists. The Cardinal has 6 ups, 1 down, and they’re in the final of the 200 medley relay. They’re looking to bounce back after a tough DQ in the 200 free relay last night, and have set themselves up well to get back into the top 3.
