Annabella Valenti, a senior from Oswego, IL, has verbally committed to Augustana College (NCAA DIII) for the class of 2025. She attends Oswego High School and swims for Delta Aquatics.

Valenti specializes in IM events, and her best event is the 200 IM. At her most recent meet, the IL FOX Illinois Swimming Regional Championships (Feb 28-Mar.1), she scored 5 personal best times in the 50 Y free (27.50), 100 Y free (57.11), 200 Y free (2:03.54), 200 Y back (2:16.27), and the 400 IM (4:52.58). Back in November, Valenti swam a best time in the 200 yard IM at the IL FOX 23rd Annual Fox Fall Classic, clocking a 2:18.13.

- 200 IM SCM: 2:18.13
- 200 IM SCY: 2:18.13
- 400 IM LCM: 5:55.81
- 400 IM SCY: 4:52.58
Valenti’s best 200 IM time puts her 4th among Augustana’s IMers from the 2019-20 season, and her 400IM time puts her 1st. Her 200 IM would have scored her a place in the B final at the 2020 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Championships. Her 400 IM would have put her in the B final as well, at 10th place.
Valenti will join Emily Martin, Madelynn Marunde, Madeline McFarland, Carissa Boerboom, Alicia Garcia, and Jeremy Wolf for the recruiting class of 2021.
