Keller High School senior Margaret Mabry has committed to Penn State University for the fall of 2022, adding backstroke depth to the Nittany Lions’ 2026 class. Mabry competes for the North Texas Nadadores swim club as well.
Mabry qualified individually for the 2019 Speedo Winter Junior Championships in the 100 back, and competed at the 2019 Speedo Summer Junior Nationals on a relay. Most recently, she went to the 2021 West Speedo Winter Juniors meet last month, where she swam on 3 relays. She led off the NTN 200 medley relay in 26.65, then split 1:54.33 on the 800 free relay, and led the 400 medley relay off in 56.05. Up until 2020, Mabry competed for Lakeside Aquatic Club in North Texas, before making the switch to North Texas Nadadores.
