US National Champion Victoria Beelner has verbally committed to swim for Emmanuel College’s class of 2025.
Victoria Beelner of Decatur, GA has announced her decision to continue her academic and athletic career at DII Emmanuel College beginning in the 2021-2022 season. Beelner is currently a senior at Tapestry Public Charter School and she is a year-round swimmer at Dynamo Swim Club. She is currently listed on the International Paralympic Committee website as having classifications of S5, SB5, and SM5.
In 2018, Beelner competed at the U.S. Paralympic Nationals. She swam the 50, 100, and 200 free, the 50 back and fly, the 100 breast, and the 200 IM. She finished 3rd in the 50 free, 200 free, and 50 back, 2nd in the 50 fly, and she was National Champion in the 200 IM.
The Dynamo Swim Club swimmer competed at the Paralympic Nationals in 2019, again claiming a national title. She won the 50 fly, and touched second in the 100 breast, third in the 50 back, and fourth in the 100 free.
Beelner currently holds the S5 American Record for the 400 IM and previously held the 200 fly record as well.
She competed at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials in 2016 and the World Trials in 2017. She was selected for the Georgia Zones Team in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Beelner will become an Emmanuel College Lion in the fall of 2021. According to the CSCAA rankings, the women’s swim and dive team earned the highest team GPA in the country during the 2019-2020 season. The Lions also won the 2020 Conference Carolinas Championships. The team’s two top point-scorers were Julia Simioni and Karolina Ostojska.
Beelner is the Emmanuel College women’s team’s first public commitment for its class of 2025.
