The Australian based Way Funky Company is searching for highly motivated sales agents to represent it’s labels, Funky Trunks and Funkita, in the USA.
Stocked in over 500 retailers throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, South Africa and Europe, the brands are now attracting major attention in the North American market and require dedicated sales professionals to help build our retailer network.
Funky Trunks
FUNKY TRUNKS
Launched in 2002, Funky Trunks is the Aussie label for guys with a range of swimwear, underwear, beachwear, apparel and swim accessories. With crazy colors in comfy styles, Funky Trunks is designed for serious performance without the serious attitude.
FUNKITA
Funkita was launched in 2004 with a range of sculpted, chlorine resistant swimwear in vibrant prints. On the bums of swimmers, triathletes, divers and surf lifesavers, Funkita took off as the must-have brand for female athletes on the pool decks and beaches across Australia and around the world.
The swimwear labels of both brands are constructed with C-Infinity, a premium Italian polyester fabric exclusive to Funky Trunks and Funkita that prevents colors from fading and the swimwear from losing its shape, even after hours in chlorinated water or under the sun.
We want to build a team of commission based sales agents across the USA and to do that we’re looking for people with the following:
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the swim and/or sports markets
• Great communication skills (both written and oral), a professional appearance and the ability to build a strong rapport with retailers, head office staff and company management
• A background as an elite level swimmer (highly desirable)
• High level time management skills
• The initiative and drive to be able to work effectively without close supervision
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to plan and undertake regular sales trips
