NCAP’s Ali Holm to Stay in MD; Commits to Towson

Bethesda, Maryland’s Ali Holm, who trains with Bruce Gemmell at Nation’s Capital Swim Club, has made a verbal commitment to Towson University.

“I decided to commit to Towson University because I loved both the coach and the assistant coach. I liked how close their team was and how welcoming they were when I visited officially. I just moved to Maryland from Georgia and the area of Towson felt like a great fit. I am very excited to be a Towson Tiger and become a part of their swim team!”

Holm moved to Bethesda from Alpharetta, Georgia where she competed in the 200 IM and 100 breast for Johns Creek High School in the Georgia 1-4A High School State Championships. In Maryland’s 2014 4A3A State Swimming Championships, Holm competed in the same events for Walt Whitman High School. Her top times over the last two seasons include:

200y breast: 2:23.73        200m breast: 2:48.01
100y breast: 1:07.37        100m breast: 1:19.27
400y IM: 4:38.62               400m IM: 5:25.34

Holm is part of a recruiting class that also includes recent commits:
