La Salle promotes Oberlander to Swimming and Diving Graduate Assistant Coach

Clarion graduate Morgan Oberlander has been hired as the swimming and diving staff graduate assistant at La Salle, Matt Nunnally announced today.

“La Salle wwimming is lucky to have Morgan join our staff,” Nunnally said. “Her wealth of knowledge and experiences bring a new perspective to our program. Morgan was an accomplished swimmer as a three-time qualifier to the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships and a three-time All-American. We expect her to make an immediate impact on our team.”

A four-year letterwinner, Oberlander graduated from Clarion University in 2013 with a degree in early childhood education and a minor in sports management. She was a 16-time PSAC finalist and a four time Academic All-American and team captain as a senior. Oberlander will be pursuing her Masters in Education at La Salle.

“Coaching at La Salle will give me the opportunity to pursue my passion of coaching, while furthering myself as a student and professional,” Oberlander said. “I am ecstatic about working with the team. I look forward to working with athletes and helping them realize and reach their potential.”
