Air Force Places Six on CSCAA Scholar-Athlete All-American Team

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Six members of the Air Force men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named to the 2014-15 College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar-Athlete All-American team, as announced today by the CSCAA.

Rising junior Genevieve Miller, the women’s team MVP and an NCAA Championships national qualifier was named the first team. Kimberly Davis (graduated) and Sara Menke (rising senior) from the women’s team, along with Alex Strom (graduated) and George Frank (rising senior) from the men’s swimming team and Nathaniel Zillweger (rising senior) from the men’s diving team were all named honorable mention.

To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Honorable Mention selections have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a “B” time standard or competed at their respective qualifying meets. The selections were drawn from 284 colleges and universities.
